Day 8 - something slightly different

Since I've successfully made it through one quarter of the verse a day challenge, I decided this time to write something without a topic suggestion. I'll get back to those tomorrow. I've had the outline for this a while but then the inspiration came to finish it. This is for my close friend who is about to leave town and make some major changes and is, understandably, kinda nervous...

finally became an ally to her intution/
found she had raised the price of admission/
to those who would see her hearts exhibition/
now no one can enter without seeking  proper permission/
an example of elegance in a world full of decadence/
but a little too modest, it's borderline negligence/
don't worry young artist, it's alright to show some arrogance/
not raising your voice, that's always been your vice/
but don't forget you're amazing, speak your mind/
& never regret the choice/
So influence that would stifle life's energy/
becomes your sworn mortal enemy/
lead with supremacy and command your army/
victory awaits with pride and glory/
follow your bliss is the call to crusade/
& you'll create your own world handmade/
it doesn't matter if you wander or stray/
So when you're on your adventure/
if caught in detours or stormy weather/
I warmly ask you to remember:/
howl & dance like a wolf under the pale moon/
take chances & have no fear of shadows that loom/
be the wildfire that blazes the way through/
& with wisdom you'll learn to look beneath/
knowing just when to bare your teeth.../
girl you got this, we're all just waiting to see/
